Though forms, egregores and godforms

In this article i will be looking at thought forms, egregores and godforms, what they are and how to create them, also i have something of plan for the whole forum to get involved with(thankyou proxy ), which i will post after this..


First of all thought forms. Thoughtform's are the manifestation of mental energy given intent and a job to do. They can be useful in aiding you through magickal workings. When creating one remember that it will only be as strong as the mind and aura as the person creating it. Also remember not to ignore your thought form as more powerful ones can turn rouge and attack if they are neglected. To keep your thought form going you should feed it via your energy. Thought form are also known as tulpas in Tibetan texts.

An effective way of creating a thoughtform is as such.

First of all sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and get into a deep trance like state. How ever you wish to do this is up to you(s we all have our own ways of doing so). Keep your eyes closed and when you can no longer feel your body it is time to start.

First of visualize a beam of light entering your crown. The colour of the light should match the purpose of the thoughtform. Saturate your being with this light until you can feel the vibration from it and you are in sync with it.

Also the next part decide which corresponding chakra you are going to be sending this energy out of(all depends on the intent of the thoughtform). Eyes close see this light streaming out of the chakra and forming a ball just in front of you. Keep packing the energy into a ball, condensing it and strengthening it. For the crown the energy should form above your head.

When the energy is strong enough begin to shape the energy into any form you desire. Visualize what you want your thought form to o and infuse this into the energy. Keep the thought form instructions simple as they are not for complex instructions.

Using a very short phrase(1 to 5 word), command the thoughtform to become active, visualize this command as a bullet shot straight into the energy,

To destroy your thought form, visualize them in the air in front of you and then see them dissipating into smoke and command them to leave. This may take a few times depending on how strong it is.

Also give your thoughtform names.

Egregore's are in essence much the same as thoughtform but instead of being created by single person it is created by group and there collective energy form and strengthen it. It has symbiotic relationship with the group and like a thoughtform it must be looked after. Creating one is much the same as the thoughtform, but the group must decide on everything and be clear and in agreement,


The egregore will watch over and look after the group it has been created by and will help them towards there spiritual ideals, also referring to this, it mens they have to be far more manged then a individually created thoughtform, as if it is effected by lower vibration emotions of a member or two if a group its purpose might get confused.



God forms.

A godform is a being created out of energy, which is independent from it creator. It serves as that persons god/goddess. Strengthen by belief in its existence. Once created(see the thoughtform creation but in this case the instructions would be far more complex), it is free to do as it will and can be called via the usual methods of invocation and summoning.

Many chaotes work with godforms until they have served a purpose and it is possible to create your own pantheon.
