Runes

Runes are an ancient oracle that pre-dates the New Testament.
As for the modern usage, there are twenty-five standard runes
used for the purpose of divining.
These are the names of the Runes, but I am unable to show you the graphics.

Mannaz-Self
Eihwaz-Defense
Ehwaz-Movement
Gebo-Partnership
Algiz-Protection
Laguz-Flow
Ansuz-Signals
Fehu-Possessions
Hagalaz-Disruption

Here are some examples of standard rune casts

Three Rune Spread

Rune 3.... Rune 2.... Rune 1...

Runes are read from right to left.
Rune 1 the situation now.
Rune 2 what action should be taken or is being taken
Rune 3 the new situation that results from the action or the outcome

Runic Cross

....................Rune 6............
.........Rune 3............Rune 1....
...................Rune5........
...................Rune 2........
...................Rune 4.........

Rune 1 is the past. Rune 2 is you now. Rune 3 is the future.
Rune 4 is the foundation behind the situation.
Rune 5 is the challenge or the action.
Rune 6 is the new situation or outcome.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A King he was on a carven throne
In many-pillared halls of stone
With golden roof and silver floor,
And runes of power upon the door.
