my poem

on this day in this hour
i call upon an ancient power
i look above and below
but all i see is your magnificent flow
all around the stars and light
to brighten even the darkest night
i know your near although your far
when i whisper i know you'll hear
through the noise and commotion
ill be foever flowing to and sometimes
from but always lapping against your shore

In the Depth of night when theres not much sound,
I think of you and where you can be found,
try as i might for most of the night,
Are you hiding in the light?
behind the stars and in the moon
i know that when i need you,
you will be here soon.
Be it dry or wet you'll be here i bet
in the time i need you the most,
for what other reason would you hear me
when others can not,
my dearest friend you mean so much
sometimes all i want is your calmest touch.
that is what i need when im down
nothing more nothing less and most certainly no frown
